Talent Acquisition

We are dedicated to the development of our employees and contractors, and we invest in their talent.

At Pelios Academy we recognize people from all walks of life. We understand that each person has their own unique talents and abilities. We understand that not every individual wants the same successes in their professional life. Each person on this planet has a specific purpose that brought them to this Earth. And each person’s purpose is just as important as the next.

We value talent that has explored and utilized their imagination to come up with new ways of doing things. Our core values operate from the foundation that there is no advanced concept that precedes the most basic principle. Keeping to the basics establishes a strong foundation to grow from.

We also understand that some people are more interested in the process of things while others want to know the results. We value both types of learners and know that each type of learning is just as valuable as the other. It is the conglomeration of both that create an innovative and effective landscape of talent.

Coaching the individual

Everyone is unique and therefore there is no one size fits all. We don’t ascribe to things like fad diets or popular healing techniques unless it is specifically useful to the client being worked with.

We know that the mind and body are connected. We also know that the mind can influence the body and the body can influence the mind. We believe that it is important to treat the whole person, not just the symptoms.

We believe in tailored solutions because we know that one size does not fit all. We also believe that the solution should be based on the client’s individual needs, not on what is popular or trendy. To find such tailored solutions, we must look at biological preferences, lifestyle, environment, and spiritual path.

The approach we take when looking at the individual is to consider all of the factors that influence health and wellbeing. This includes looking at the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual aspects of the individual. We believe that it is important to look at all of these aspects in order to find the best possible solution for the client.

Look deeper than the surface

We believe that it is important to look deeper than what’s presenting on the surface in order to find the root cause of a problem. This is a process called ‘digging’. It is important to ‘dig’ in order to find the root cause because it is much more effective to treat the root cause than it is to treat the symptoms.

The process of digging involves asking questions and looking at all of the factors that could be contributing to a problem. This includes looking at the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual aspects of the individual. It is important to look at all of these aspects in order to find the best possible solution for the client.

Multi-modality approach

We believe in using a multi-modality approach when working with clients. This means that we use a variety of different approaches in order to find the best possible solution for the client. We believe that this is important because it allows us to tailor the solution to the individual.

We also believe that no one approach is better than the other, they are all just tools that we can use. We believe that the best approach is the one that works best for the individual.

Bringing the non-conscious into consciousness

We believe that it is important to bring the non-conscious into consciousness in order to heal. We believe that the subconscious hold the answer to finding the root cause of a problem. By bringing the non-conscious information into consciousness, we can begin to work on healing it.

Buried below the surface of our conscious awareness is a vast store of non-conscious information. This includes our memories, beliefs, values, and emotions. This non-conscious information can have a powerful influence on our lives, even though we are not aware of it.

Our perceptual filters are shaped by our non-conscious information. This means that we only see what our subconscious allows us to see. This can be a problem because it means that we are not seeing the whole picture. It also means that we may be holding onto information that is no longer helpful or accurate.

By becoming aware of our non-conscious information, we can begin to change our perceptual filters. This will allow us to see things in a new light and to find new solutions to old problems.

Driven by integrative philosophy

We see the cultivation of both western and eastern philosophies as critical in our professional endeavors. We believe that it is important to look at the whole person when working with clients. This means looking at the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual aspects of the individual. We believe that it is important to look at all of these aspects in order to find the best possible solution for the client.

Western philosophies tend to focus on the physical and mental aspects of the individual. Eastern philosophies tend to focus on the emotional and spiritual aspects of the individual. We believe that it is important to look at both sides in order to find a balance.

The best approach is one that takes into account all of these aspects of the individual. By looking at the whole person, we can get a better understanding of what is going on and why the symptoms are present. Receiving guidance from the wisdom of integrative philosophies helps to create a more comprehensive solution.

Western Philosophy

Western philosophy has its origins from the ancient Greek. Socrates, Plato, and Aristotle are some of the most famous philosophers from this time period. Western philosophy tended to focus on reason and logic. We believe that these philosophies are important because they offer a tangible perspective on life. They offer a perspective that is focused on the material world and the power that comes with it.

These philosophies are based in reason and logic. They emphasize the importance of using your mind to think things through. By thinking things through, you can begin to understand the world around you.

Eastern Philosophy

Eastern philosophy has its origins from the ancient Chinese. Lao Tzu, Confucius, and Mencius are some of the most famous philosophers from this time period. Eastern philosophy tended to focus on intuition and emotion. We believe that these philosophies are important because they offer a different perspective on life. They offer a perspective that is not focused on material possessions or power. Instead, they focus on inner peace and harmony.

These philosophies also emphasize the importance of taking care of oneself. This includes taking care of the mind, body, and spirit. By taking care of oneself, one can begin to take care of others.

The best approach is one that takes into account all of these aspects of the individual. By looking at the whole person, we can get a better understanding of what is going on and why the symptoms are present. Receiving guidance from the wisdom of integrative philosophies helps to create a more comprehensive solution.

Group learning and support

Group learning allows us to stretch beyond our current boundaries and to support one another as we grow. In a group, we can share our experiences and learn from the collective wisdom of the group. In this type of setting, we can also support one another through the challenges that inevitably arise.

Groups provide a safe space for us to explore new ideas and to challenge our assumptions. It also allows people to learn from each other.

Group learning and support also allows people to share their growing knowledge with others. This helps to create a more well-rounded understanding of the topic. It also allows for different perspectives to be shared.

When we come together in a group, we can pool our resources and create something more powerful than we could on our own. This is because groups allow us to tap into the collective power of the group.

Self-care

As mentioned, we strongly believe in self-care. Members of our organization will not perform at their best if they neglect their own needs. We believe that it is important for people to take care of themselves so that they can be their best selves.

Some specific ways in which we encourage self-care are:

– Meditation

– Exercise

– Healthy eating

– Time in nature

– Connecting with friends and family

Self-care is important because it helps to reduce stress. It also helps to improve one’s mood and overall sense of well-being. When people feel good, they are more likely to be productive and successful. When we are happy and healthy it is a natural thing to want to share those things with others.

We encourage our team members to take time for themselves so that they can be their best selves. We know that when they do, they will be able to contribute more to our organization and the world as a whole.

Now that you know a little bit more about our organization, we invite you to connect with us. Our growing organization is open to the talents and aspirations of others who share our vision.
